These are the programs currently being offered at Merrill CommUnity Center.

Our seniors know how to spell fun — it’s B-I-N-G-O.
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am people who are at least
50 years old and older, gather at Merrill CommUnity
Center to play BINGO.

There is a very minimal registration and game fee
for seniors that want to enroll in this program. Prizes
range from cleaning
products to bags of food. However,
the most important part of the Senior Program is
people coming together to have a good time.

Also, as part of the program, seniors are provided with educational materials at least once a month. Partner agencies in the area deliver instruction aimed at increasing awareness of resources available to our participants.

If you are looking for an enjoyable way to spend a Tuesday or Thursday morning, then stop by — just be prepared to shout out “BINGO!”

YOUTH PROGRAM (Ages 7-12)

Children from all over Beloit can come to the Merrill Community Center and participate in the After-School Program. Our program focuses on student learning, as well as social interactions.

We start at 12 Noon-5:00 PM throughout the summer and 3:00 PM-5:00 PM during the school year. Also, occassional weekends. Each day, we provide a healthy, nutritous snack or meal, help with homework, and educational/recreational activities emphasizing our, "Heritage Curriculum" funded by the Beloit Foundation.

To be part of our program, all you need to do is stop by and pick up a registration form. The fee is just $5 for the school year.
